5 sets of persons who betrayed jonathan…..Nemesis has catched up with them.

1. Bukola Saraki : He was the brain behind the nPDP, mocked the the then president but I’m sure he is full of regrets.

2 BBOG : One chief reason why the missing girls are still not found is that this group chose to politicise the whole thing. From daily sit outs to press releases, to processing they use every opportunity to abuse the then president but today, after a one off dinner, Buhari has no time for them again. The last meeting they held with him, he angrily walked out on them. And just last week when the sought the attension of his wife, she was more interested in beauty therapy. LOL

3 Benue indigene : The own reward for voting for the “change” scam is Fulani herdsmen ethnic cleansing

4. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso: A PDP governor who sold out and contributed 2m vote is being ostracized by his new party both at home and national level.

5. Others lost on the way side include Tam West, Solodu, Falana, Oby, Atiku, Tinubu,........

Akwa Ibom Governor Emmanuel Finishes Lavish Mansion After Few Months In Office.

Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has completed a massive mansion for himself in his hometown of Awa community in Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, which he started building four months after becoming the governor of the State.

SaharaReporters in an exclusive report on September 30, 2015 revealed that contract for the building project was awarded by Mr. Emmanuel to VKS Construction Limited, a construction firm owned by Mr. Onur Kumral, a Turkish national who several sources confirmed aided former Governor Godswill Akpabio in siphoning public funds.

Mr. Kumral was formerly the project manager of another construction company, Ronesans Construction Nigeria Limited, a Turkish firm. SaharaReporters investigation last year revealed that the Turkish company is a subsidiary of Ronesans Holding in Turkey but had to be registered as Ronesans Construction Nigeria Limited when it first arrived Nigeria in 2014 on the invitation of former Governor Godswill Akpabio. The first contract awarded to the company in Nigeria was the construction of the Four Point Sheraton Hotel in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.

Kumral later left Renossans Construction Nigeria Limited and formed VKS Construction Limited.

Kumral was assisted in the governor's building project by one Oliver Ebong. Ebong is the owner of another company called Olkem Nigeria Limited which is basically into project consultancy. However, credible sources had informed SaharaReporters that Mr. Ebong and Olkem Nigeria Limited were fronts for former Governor Godswill Akpabio, his elder brother Emem Akpabio and one Mr. Don Etim who was the Commissioner for Works throughout the 8 years tenure of Akpabio as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

"Oliver Ebong and his company Olkem Nigeria Limited are fronts that was used by Godswill Akpabio, his brother Emem Akpabio and Mr. Don Etim to loot billions of naira of Akwa Ibom funds. What happened was that the former governor gave almost all the consultancy job for roads and other infrastructural projects and contracts of his government to Olkem Nigeria Limited which ran into several billions of naira.

"The cost of the consultancy contracts were usually inflated and returns were made to the former governor, his brother and Don Etim. This fact was common knowledge within government circles", a source close to the former governor told SaharaReporters.

Despite the photos of the building at the time exclusively published by SaharaReporters, which clearly showed that the house was completely new and under construction, the governor publicly lied and refused to admit so.

The governor through the State Commissioner for Information, Aniekan Umanah, had while addressing news men in Uyo on Friday October 2, 2015 described the report as “false" "unfounded", "misleading” and "the height of mischief". He claimed that Mr. Udom was merely renovating the property that had been built 60 years ago.

The opulent house was built to have state of the art facilities has a shocking inbuilt Olympic size swimming pool.

Speaking with SaharaReporters on the matter, a lawyer and human rights activist, Mr Inibehe Effiong, described the governor as someone on a mission is to accumulate wealth at the expense of the public.

"Governor Udom Emmanuel is a bloody liar. How can a governor build such a mansion within few months in office? Why didn't he do so before now if he had so much money before becoming the governor? It is criminal and senseless,” according to the lawyer when asked about the completion of this project.

Temitope Joshua is arguably the most influential preacher in Africa. The founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nation (SCOAN) attracts huge numbers of people from across Africa and beyond, many of them seeking faith healing from ailments and exorcism from demonic possession.

On September 12, 2014, a guesthouse within his church collapsed, killing 116 people, most of them South Africans, who travelled to the Lagos headquarters of the church for pilgrimage.

The cleric has also endeared his Christian ministry to many political leaders on the African continent who throng his church, with some of them openly testifying that he correctly predicted the outcomes of the elections that brought them to power.

One of the African leaders who believed in Mr. Joshua’s prophesy was former Ghanaian president, John Atta-Mills. After his inauguration in 2009, the first visit made by Mr. Atta-Mills, a Professor of Law, was to the Synagogue, as Mr. Joshua’s church is commonly called.

Mr. Atta-Mills died in office on July 24, 2012. It remained unclear whether Pastor Joshua saw his death coming.

The pastor’s television station, Emmanuel TV, is believed to be one of the most viewed in the continent.

Apart from evangelism, Mr. Joshua is not known to be involved in any other business.
However, files obtained by PREMIUM TIMES from the massive leaked data of a Panamanian law firm, Mossack Fonseca, has now shown that Mr. Joshua and his wife, Evelyn, own Chillon Consultancy Limited, a company incorporated on June 20, 2006 at the British Virgin Island (BVI).

Both owners own one ordinary share each, although the company, with registration number 1033675, is authorized to issue a maximum “50,000 no par value Shares of a single class.”

It remains unclear what businesses Mr. Joshua transacted with the shell company which has no physical presence in Tortola, the largest and most inhabited island at the British Virgin Island.

Chillon Consultancy Limited uses the office address of its registered agent, Mossack Fonseca (Akara Bldg., 24 De Castro Street, Wickhams Cay 1, Road Town, Tortola) as its contact information in the British Virgin Island.

Mr. Joshua is the second Nigerian mega preacher shown to set up offshore companies in tax havens.
An April 2013 investigation by PREMIUM TIMES had exposed Chris Oyakhilome, founder and leader of Christ Embassy, as incorporating Gmobile Nigeria Limited, an offshore firm in 2007, at the British Virgin Island.

Although other individuals were listed as shareholders and directors, that investigation was able to determine that the pastor’s teenage daughters – Sharon and Charlyn – were the real beneficial owners of the company.

Like many mega preachers in the country, Mr Joshua is reported to live in opulence. Last September, online news website, Sahara Reporters, claimed the televangelist bought a Gulfstream G550 aircraft in April 2015.

According to Sahara Reporters, the jet, registered as “Synagogue Of Nations,” was purchased using the Bank Of Utah trustee as front.

A Gulfstream G550 is sold for as much a $45 million and could take up to $3 million dollars in yearly maintenance cost.

Mr. Joshua did not respond to this newspaper’s multiple requests for comments. A person who picked his phone when he was called last week said the he was not available to take calls. He requested our reporter to send an email.

But an email sent to his church’s official email address was also not responded to.
The Nigerian Senate has asked the Minister of Transport, Chibuike Amaechi, to resign his appointment as Minister or apologize to the Senate and Nigerians over the Lagos-Calabar rail project that has generated a lot controversies in the last 48 hours. Members of the National Assembly and the presidency have been at loggerheads after media reports alleged that the National Assembly members had removed the Lagos-Calabar rail project from the budget presented to it by President Buhari.

The reports alleged that the National Assembly members diverted the money meant for the said project to the Lagos-Kano project, favoring the Northern region. Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara and Chairman House Committee on Appropriation Abdulmumin Jibrin, via their twitter handles refuted the claims while the Chairman Senate Committee on Transport, Gbenga Ashafa, in a statement he released, said although the project was not included in the original budget forwarded to the National Assembly by Buhari, Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi approached his committee to include the said project.

Read the senate's position on the matter below...

The Senate today (Monday, April 11) advised the Presidency to come clean with Nigerians on the 2016 Budget and stop engaging in surreptitious campaigns of calumny against the Senate in order to cover up its serial errors.

Reacting to claims in the media credited to the Executive arm of government on the 2016 budget, Senator Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, chairman, Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, in a statement in Abuja, said the National Assembly had bent backwards to wring a coherent document out of the excessively flawed and chaotic versions of the budget proposal submitted to the National Assembly.

He said : "while the executive is mandated to prepare and lay before the National Assembly a proposed budget detailing projects to be executed, it should be made clear that the responsibility and power of appropriation lies with the National Assembly. If the presidency expects us to return the budget proposal to them without any adjustments, then some people must be living in a different era and probably have not come to terms with democracy."

"We make bold to say however, that the said Lagos-Calabar rail project was not included in the budget proposal presented to the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari and we challenge anyone who has any evidence to the contrary to present such to Nigerians."

Since the beginning of the 2016 budget process, it is clear that the National Assembly has suffered all manners of falsehood, deliberate distortion of facts, and outright blackmail, deliberately aimed at poisoning the minds of the people against the institution of the National Assembly. We have endured this with equanimity in the overall interest of Nigerians. Even when the original submission was surreptitiously swapped and we ended up having two versions of the budget, which was almost incomprehensible and heavily padded in a manner that betrays lack of coordination and gross incompetence, we refused to play to the gallery and instead helped the Executive to manage the hugely embarrassing situation it has brought upon itself; but enough is enough."

"This latest antics of this particular minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, is reckless, uncalled for and dangerously divisive. Apart from setting the people of the southern part of the country against their northern compatriots, it potentially sets the people against their lawmakers from the concerned constituencies and sets the lawmakers against themselves. This manner of reprehensible Mischief has no place in a democracy. We hereby demand from Mr. Amaechi a publicly tendered apology if he is not able to show evidence that the Lagos-Calabar road project was included in the budget. Otherwise, he should resign forthwith.

"Finally, by the provision of Section 81 (4) (a) and (b) of the constitution, the President is allowed to sign the budget and kick-start the implementation of the other areas that constitute over 90 percent of the budget where there is agreement between both arms, even as we engage ourselves to resolve the contentious areas, if there were any. We therefore maintain that even this contrived discrepancies are not sufficient excuse not to sign the budget into law."

"We therefore urge President Buhari to sign the 2016 budget without any further delay. For every additional day that the president withholds his assent from the bill, the hardship in the land, which is already becoming intolerable for the masses of our people gets even more complicated. Certainly, as primary representatives of the people we shall not vacate our responsibility and watch the people continue to suffer unduly."

Signed
Sen. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi
Chairman, Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs
